Who would have known?

The sugar plum can strictly be thought of as dried fruit mixed into a ball and then given a sugar coating.

I loved the facts, as well, that there is a famous band called Sugar Plum, as well as a song by the Bill Evan's trio. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ_VkNtd26w if you have 6 minutes of time to listen to a tune you may never have heard.

A Sugar Plum is also known as a dragée[p], a bite-sized, colorful form of confectionery with a hard outer shell - which is often used for another purpose (e.g. decorative, symbolic, medicinal, etc) (Definition from Wiki).Arta Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07329194629476229822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8784798779972837102.post-37161645120460687902012-12-17T21:22:32.339-07:002012-12-17T21:22:32.339-07:00Have you ever had a "Sugar Plum"?Have you ever had a "Sugar Plum"?Bonnie W Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12725473215248168994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8784798779972837102.post-87855614102101457312012-12-13T23:45:38.521-07:002012-12-13T23:45:38.521-07:00I forgot to mention that the review says that the ...I forgot to mention that the review says that the show is sold out except for the 67 day seats they hold back to be sold the day of the performance. Sold out? Not so at the theatre we attended. Lots of room -- maybe only 1/10 full, and we had room to lay our coats on other seats and spread out so we were nice and comfy. Ceilidh is the one who spotted the fact that the decoration of the beautiful cake in the first act, is mirrored by the set of the Land of the Sugar Plums. She whispered to Meighan that she should tell me that. Good thing, for I had missed it.

ArtaArta Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07329194629476229822noreply@blogger.com
