Go to the Royal Winnipeg's ballet of Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, which I saw live here in the Peg. It is not a traditional ballet, in fact there are several moments in the production during which traditional ballet is mocked by the dancers and the short speaking script. The, now retired, principal ballerina is handed a megaphone at one point and starts yelling at the performers and the audience as the Queen of Hearts. Watch the reaction of the other dancers when the one traditional ballet dancer appears on stage. Love ballet especially when humour is involved.
