I have been reading through a few pages today about Lucene B. Penrod, who would be Grandfather Doral Pilling's great-grandmother.

What's not to love about Family Search where I found several photos of Lucene Bird Bybee Penrod. A bit of intrigue too. She was married twice. Willan Penrod was her second husband at the age of 30. First husband wasn't dead yet, so I'm assuming either divorce or bigamy. She is sealed to both her husbands. So there you go. Evidence that woman were sealed to two husbands. Precident!!!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving family search. When you click on Lucene Penrod you get her fan chart. There is a little arrow by her progeny, which initially opens with the 5 children from her first husband. If you click the arrow, a new fan chart opens with her children from her second marriage to our great great great grandfather. Amanda Penrod was her oldest child from that marriage (5 children, the youngest two a set of TWINS born when Lucene was 39 years old.
