 The Annual January 1st tobogganing party at the Hicks home, turned into a Christmas Eve party this year.

For the Richard Johnson Family, this is one of the most anticipated social events of the year.

This may be true for other families for many families gathered to give each other a Merry Christmas gretting.   Zoe Bates and Betty Johnson seemed to bond of a puzzle in front of a hearth, since there was very little snow on the hills behind the house for sledding.

I think the party which was to be 11 am to 3 pm turned into a linger longer event, families only leaving when it really was time for them to wend their way home.

Amazing, having three generations gather and to find such enjoyment in each other's company.
