Tom stopped to read one of the quotes that went along with a sculpture.
He read it out loud and then giggled over the word virginity.
The quote was from Germaine Greer: A library is a place where you can lose your innocence without losing your virginity.
“Do you know what the means in this context,” said his mother.
He said, I am fine, mother, I am fine.
“But I need to know if you understand it in this context.”
Lucky Tom to have his mother so quick with an explanation for him.
