Having said all of that, I noticed one day that she had cut the strap of a purse and then tied a scarf to either end of the bag, making it now hang past the hip instead of being too close to the upper body to be much good.
Catching seals, eating the meat and using the fur is part of the commercial way of life for her.
So Rebecca does not have “don’t kill the seals” campaign. She says that when she is in the North, she buys local.

So we did a WWWD (What Would Wyona Do) and we cut the strap, at its high point, tied the ends into a loop and threaded a flowered tan and black scarf through the loops.
So the purse has been in use – off to Fairways last night, into Home Depot this morning, and now attending a meeting at the law school.
Nice to get it into circulation.
