David had just come back from a long walk with two friends from school. They were on bikes. He walked or jogged along side them. They were out in the sunshine for a couple of hours. Just what Dr. Bonnie Henry recommends in these Covid times.
He was hungry when he got home. He noticed bacon in the fridge, and we decided to try cooking that up instead of our usual homemade fries or a hamburger.
I tried to find a short YouTube demo. In less time, David found the time and temperature in text: 400°F for 10 minutes, check half-day through cooking time.
The prep, cooking, clean off plate, clean up cooking area was faster than a drive to a drive-through. I supplemented the meal with scrambled eggs and cheese on a toasted Kaiser roll.
The manual says you can run these parts through the dishwasher, but a few paper towels and a quick wash in the sink, and you're ready to cook again. |

We decided we had a winner with the ease of the cooking. David said of his own cooking, "I need to do this more often." The only change is next time shave two minutes off the cooking time.
Life is good.

Cooking in the Air Fryer, to be continued...
Ooooo, I like this idea. I love bacon. Just need to get an airfryer now.
