A niece contacted me today for my MIL’s bread recipe. I knew the recipe came from my dad’s mom Billie who gave it to my mom’s sister Arta who gave it to my MIL Shirley over 50 years ago when they lived in Grand Prairie. They didn’t keep in touch after Grand Prairie, but both Arta and Shirley made bread almost daily for decades. 25ish years after Grand Prairie, I met my husband and they reconnected.
