On the road back to Arta's house I was sure I could smell strawberries, even though that season is long past and any unpicked fruit is now frozen.

The weather was perfect
The weather was perfect for a morning walk. Snow had been forecasted, but none arrived. I made sure to walk across the Little Canadian Stream since those walks are numbered. The sheet of ice has not yet started to form there. The waves on the water were topped with foam.

On the road back to Arta's house I was sure I could smell strawberries, even though that season is long past and any unpicked fruit is now frozen.

Lovely beach in this picture. It does look a little wet on the rocks. One can never see too many pictures of Shuswap.
