First Time Being Published -- Young Writers of Canada -- Part I

Last year Xavier submitted a piece of writing to a annual anthology published by the Poetry Institute of Canada (based out of Victoria) to showcase Canada's young writers.  His piece was selected for publication. 

Today we received the proof sheet for review.  It is so exciting (well, at least for him mom).

    Thank you for allowing this to be posted.

    I don't read a lot of fantasy, so it was nice to open my mind to it. What I liked was the chance to see how someone makes up words -- new words. I was busy sounding the word out and looking at usual spellings.

    You really made me laugh showing the proof sheets. Rebecca is working on her own proof sheets right now. Welcome to the club, Xavier.
