Religious Education

This isn't a house where there is a lot of formal religious training.  But Duncan occasionally comes to his dad with questions.  Yesterday's query was about original sin and the role the snake had in the explusion from the Garden of Eden.  He said to his dad, "If the curse to the snake was that he would have to crawl on his belly for the rest of his life, and if his body is already designed for that, where is the curse.

I can't figure out why Duncan didn't ask me or Rebecca who are both better positioned to answer that question given the years of  extensive  religious education we have both had.  But no, he asked Steve.

I would have given him Joseph Smith's answer  but that wouldn't have made much sense to Duncan either.
