I was thinking the other day about my memories of southern Alberta.
A flood of Johnson reunion memories came back. I want to write them down but right now I am on the bus so it will have to wait.
Here is a taste.
Making ice cream for the first time in cans using ice and salt.
Pressing prairie flowers -- I especially loved the tiger lilies.
Going to a candle wicking workshop only to find out that we were not dipping candles as I had imagined.
Floating in the Milk River with my cousins.
Dry, dusty camp grounds.
More later.
