Well.... since everyone else seems to be abroad these days, and I am home... well... might as well jot down a few notes re my last trip out to Spain. My friend Marie-Claire and I were teaching at the International Institute for the Sociology of Law, in Onati, Spain. It is in the heart of the basque region, near Guernica. I only knew of the Picasso painting by that name but (horrors) hadn't really connected the painting to the place. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guernica_%28painting%29.
