My first trip to Australia (Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast)

view from my balcony at the Sheraton, Noosa
I left Victoria on the 9pm flight, Monday night, and arrived here in Noosa around 2pm on Wednesday. A bit of a haul to get here, but.... well.... what do you think of the view from the balcony of my room? It is a most pleasant 24 degrees celcius.  I just don't know whether to head for the pool, or head for the sandy beach in the background? (or, to stay here in the room and finish my paper?) Suggestions? :-)

  1. Sigh. Why am I not there with you? Then we could both work on your paper and get to the beach faster. But why go to the beach when that pool i s so close and they probably serve drinks. :-)

I am sure I don't have to tell you to enjoy yourself!!!

  2. yes, they serve drinks. if you look closely, there are bar stools in the water around that cabana. hahaha. haven't checked out the pool yet, so i don't know if the water is like at Oosoyoos, where our lush bodies simply could NOT sink in the water! ;-)

  3. Ah, those were good times indeed.

Off to my friends Joanne and Brent's cottage today for a sleepover. It comes in a close second to feeling as much like home as the Lake. Only a 1.5 hour drive instead of a 5 day drive. But I can't stay there for weeks at a time. :-)

I don't recommend eating Koala while you are in Australia. I think it is illegal. Roo is the new beef I hear.
