Art 101

 ...the Osaka Castle trip
included looking for good tree images to paint ...
Wyona and I took pictures on the grounds of Osaka Castle, namely pictures of pink fuchsias, since in the WaterColours 101 class next week we will be doing flowers.

Having no tube of white, we were dodging all of the white flowers with our cameras.

Wyona bought watercolor paper and new tubes of water soluble colour – a free class on board.

Do we have these colours in our water colour tubes of paint?
I am not skilled enough to make theses hues yet.
Already she has purchased more supplies when we were in the market in town. I am having less fun that she – just hanging on until Vancouver – knowing now what it must have been like for my kids to practise something they weren’t really interested in doing.

Sucks to be committed to something you aren't really enjoying.

And the word sucks reminded me that Wyona keeps buying drinks as we travel.  She would get 100% if a Dr. asked her the question, "Do you hydrate yourself as you travel."

...white grape juice
that has little squares of white concord grapes floating in it ...
To mix things up, she often chooses soft drinks or juices that are unfamiliar to her.

Greg and I are less adventurous, but enjoy getting sips of this or that.

Here is one Minute Maid product I have never purchased in Canada.  So strange to take a drink of white grape juice and have little bits of grapes (it seemed), floating around in my mouth.
