garden fresh green beans

Green beans for dinner,
Green beans for lunch,
Green beans for breakfast?
Perhaps for brunch!

Thanksgiving has past, but the harvest keeps coming. The contrast of the yellow, green and purple beans from the Wood’s garden is lovely. There have been enough beans this summer, that they have even been worn as accessories.

What vegetables are gracing your plates?

    But simple Sal shoves hers' away.
    I eat vegetable peas and beets.
    She stuffs on on lots of sweets.
    Guess one thing she doesn't know.
    Milk and vegetables make you grow!
