NY Times Review of Un Ballo in Maschera

December is the best month for music and the theatre.

Rebecca and I got on the phone last night for one last chance to say how much we had enjoyed Webber's Jesus Christ Super Star.  Even though we saw it in different cities, we talked as though we had been side by side in the same theatre.

Fun at local theatres is not ending.  I am sure the Nutcracker is being broadcast on the 13th and 22nd.  And the fun continues.  Take Saturday for example.  I don't want to miss Un Ballo in Maschera.  On the other hand, who has the time to squeeze that performance in among all of the other things to do.

This month going to church can be a special joy.  Think of being in Marcia's ward and getting to hear Gabe and Zack sing "O Holy Night", soaring up to the high notes flawlessly and with seemingly no effort.

Even Kalina Oldham took a little trip to the front of the church to figure out what it was her cousins were doing.
