A Thanksgiving Rainbow

Moiya sent these pictures to me but included no text.

What is there to say about this picture?

I think the rainbow is coming right out of the train tunnel
that is in the cove next to ours.

Moiya doesn't do photoshopping.
But this picture is just too good to be true.

This is version 2 of the picture above.
The shadows on the lawn are deeper.
For me the wonder is still there.
A full rainbow!
A pre-thanksgiving treat.

  1. I am grateful those photos. Thank you Moiya for taking them and thank you Arta for blogging them. I am having an afternoon treat of cantaloupe. The curve and colour of the slice of this fruit make it in perfectly camouflaged to fit right into that rainbow.

  2. I love the idea of an afternoon treat of cantaloupe. That is my favourite of the melons. As a child I ate it with a sprinkle of salt. Now I know better than to add the salt, although I sometimes do. To tell the truth, I love to peel the cantaloupe. I enjoy that feeling of scooping out the seeds from each of the halves. And even more, I like to cut it in slices and put it on a plate. I know, I know. Cutting those slices into pieces and putting them into tupperware is more efficient. But I always hope that the slices will be eaten before I have to do that.
