Zoe's Photos

Just cannot pass up this chance to put a few more of Zoe's photos up on the blog. One afternoon we took Ezra, Senya and Ivan shopping. We stopped a MacDonald's for ice cream.

Ivan can hold Annelise at the same time he watches the iPad.

Arta, please fix up these pictures.
While we were at Walmart, Charise and Senya picked out floss to make bracelets. In the background is the new home of Jamie, Trent and family.
Zoe posing at Margaret Falls in British Columbia this past summer.
Isn't it nice when you can get someone older to carry you on their shoulders. Kalina thinks so.
Another one of Zoe's amazing pictures on one of her trips to Banff just after a snow storm.

  1. Zoe's picture in Banff is about as an amazing shot as anyone would want to see. That one should get posted on a wall at your house alongside the one Tonia did of an orange sunset over the Shuswap.

So much fun to see your activities -- the dairy queen, making bracelets, playing with Anneliese. I notice at the Dairy Queen you have become a two table family. Nice.

As for fixing up the pictures. I usually turn mine around before they get on the blog. I don't know how to do that once they are posted. But others can do as I did. Just turn their heads sideways and enjoy the moment. Thanks again for the fun.

  2. Zoe? I wanted to tell you that I really enjoyed the pose by Margaret Falls. I haven't been there. Maybe next time your family goes, I will come along. I think everyone else in the family has been to Margaret Falls. Hard to believe that after 52 years of visiting at the Shuswap, I still haven't made it there. And speaking of cool places to do, did you know Uncle Glen and Aunt Janet have a new van that they are going to use to visit all of British Columbia and maybe further. The van is cool. From Japan. Wyona and Greg have already had a ride in it.

  3. You won't be disappointed in Margaret Falls, Arta... Moiya showed it to me and Bob when we visited a couple of years ago. It's not too soon for us to visit again!

  4. Hi Jane,

Zoe knows how to take her camera on trips to the Kananaskis ... or anywhere ... and snap great pictures. Moiya doesn't do that as much, but she does travel the roads that lead to and from her new home. She can tell you where to buy the best ice-cream/pop/snacks and where the good views are. Bonnie Wyora who lives there as well has driven down many of the rural roads as she visits clients. Yesterday she was paid for her visit, both with cash and in kind -- eggs, a dozen of them.

Bonnie told me that one of the loveliest things about returning to her home after a short vacation here, was seeing the toboggan tracks down "Toboggan Alley" (known in the summertime as Pillings Road). The tracks come all the way down and across my lawn. How cute is that!
