\just waiting to here back from Chai Chin about tickets for
\MerrilyWe Roll Along.
\i arrif3ed in London. Am using a Dell from the hotel. \my
fingerts do not work right on this keyboard. \it is sooo hot here and no air
conditioning in the hotel. \i arrived Sunday at the hotel around noon. Went
oout to get tickets. \i was soo tired by 4 pm and \i remembered \i slept about
one hour on th e plane.
Today was the pink Run for \Life, cancer run so a lot of the
buses were not running. \i spent a lot of time going the long way and walking.
The airplane was packed! \just had time in Toronto to run
from the domestic terminal to the international terminal in time to get my
plane.
\i booked a shuttle for 15 pounds to the airport on the day
\i leave, \july 24th from the hotel;.
\i slept in my hot small room for a couple of hours 7-9 pm.
\if anyone stays one night with me it will be cozy but good price.

...and can i mention that I fantasize about this show each time the Chai Chin email comes by?
ReplyDeleteWyona saw the show today. She says it was fabulous and asked if the reviews of the show agree with her. I had to say yes. She knows the actors, has seen them in other shows, says the voice of the third person is so fabulous and she can see why the show had trouble when it was first presented years ago. 80% of it is music. Audience like that now. Then, they didn't.
ReplyDeleteShe has tickets to Book of Mormon which she bought on-line. Now it is sold out until the end of August. She tried to get tickets for Matilda. It is sold out.
She is going to see The Chorus Line, Bodyguard, going back to see Merrily We Roll Along again, and has tickets for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (though she is in the third balcony and is hoping the Marcia will bring binoculars with her when she comes). She is also going to see if she can get day-of tickets for Wicked and Billy Elliott.
How can you tell I called to see if she is having fun? The only drawback is the sweltering heat and no air-conditioning, but she asks, "Why would a hotel put in hair conditioning when it rains 51 weeks of the year?"
