Lunch

Would you want to eat in the hallway?

Dear Cousins,

What do you like to take to school for lunch?

Today I packed a bagel with a slice of cheese, a vanilla yogurt, some fresh strawberries, a peeled mandarin, carrots, and some cucumber slices.

Also, I find it hard to eat at school with everyone distracting me. I don't want to sit out in the hall to do it. That is where kids have to go when they have been misbehaving.

  1. David. When I take a lunch to work, it usually ends up being leftovers, a granola and piece of fruit or a can of some kind. Yes, a can. I have to open it up at school and find a bowl to plop it's contents into before reheating.
Often, I eat in the gym; a smelly, loud, busy, stinky gym. Or else I eat in class when my students are working because I was running around, photocopying, chasing down students, prepping my class for the afternoon, or supervising either intramurals or detention, and didn't have time to eat.
