The Upper and Lower Ravine Road Work

... road equipment at rest ...

Long over-due roadwork has been going on this week. The Upper Ravine Road has been graded, tamped and capped.

Most people will know this as the road that leads to Lot 13, David and Shauna Pilling’s home.

As well there is some work on the Lower Ravine Road, but that is pending – a little less rain and a little more sun will see that worked finished.

At the end of that road is Marcia and Art Treleaven’s place. Greg has been piling brush for week now, getting ready for a burn later in the winter or early spring.

As well Laynie and Graham are having some brush work done, getting their property ready for some work in the summer.

Marina and Dan are having a road put to their cabin, one with a grade that will be both convenient and safe.

Richard and Miranda are having some brush cleared from the west side of their lot. And a little leveling done, enough that there will be a place for some tents between lots 3 and 4.

Right now the camping spots are on a first come, first serve basis.  I wonder if the day will come when they will have to be booked ... by lottery, of course.
