Orange and Yellow Beads

... the yellow beads are Mary's ...
I had a handful of orange and yellow beads that Mary gave me when she was blowing glass.

I tried a number of ways to get them onto a string and wear them but I was never successful.

When Wyona was going to London in the autumn I gave the beads to her and asked her to string them at Najif’s bead shop where she often spends time in London.

... the full necklace -- 36" ...
Wyona brought back a one of a kind necklace for me using those beads.

She mixed the hand-blown glass beads with coral and a few flat synthetic red beads.

I am going to wear this necklace for a long time and then its yours Mary, ... unless someone else gets it first.

  1. How fun! It's beautiful. I know it will look fantastic with whatever outfit you put together. You know my choice would be a black dress. Will crazy shoes.

  2. The necklace is so long that you can see I had to bend and fold it to get it into the picture. I am wearing it now with items that do not match. Jeans, runners, a grey lace-trimmed top. That is the outfit I have put together.

I shall wear it on a black dress when I go out and want to look smashing. I am stuck wearing crazy shoes at my age -- with orthodics. I know that is not what you meant when you said crazy shoes.
