Rhiannon in Alice in Wonderland

From Mary:

Today is the first day of the Alice in Wonderland musical at Rhiannon's school.

She is playing a part in the support cast/chorus.

Her first scene is as a girl at the park before Alice goes to Wonderland.

The rest of the show, she is a fish.

In addition to the 4 evening shows, they do a matinee show each day for the elementary feeder schools.

On Thursday they do two day-time shows.

So today Rhiannon had to arrive at school with her hair and make-up done.

Step one: Naomi did Rhiannon's foundation and contouring make-up. I would have been lost with this.

Step two: We put fishnet stockings over Rhiannon's face and added "fish scales" by applying eyeshadow.

Because she also has to play just a regular girl, the fish scales are supposed to only be in certain places on her face and not too crazy.

I think tomorrow will will do the scales a little darker than we did today.

Step three: take fish net off and do hair.

Can't wait to see the show tonight.
