LtoR: Naomi's friend Ellen, Xavier, Leo, Mary |
One or them was a production where Gabe Treleaven played Horton the Elephant.
I saw the second production where Naomi played the cat of Cat In the Hat Fame.
Richard was going to Lethbridge.

We arrived just in time for a lovely warm bagel at Mary and Leo’s home and then we went to the show.
Naomi has spent 2 ½ hours every day after school preparing for this part.

... Alice waiting for the show to start ... |
Naomi had found some true red leather shoes that fit her at the equivalent of Value Village in Lethbridge – the kind of shoes that should stay in a person’s wardrobe for a lifetime.
Naomi fully took on her role, which among many things was to move the drama along – she was something of the omniscient narrator.
As well she had some great single singing numbers, a well-done duet and she played two character parts: the judge and another part which seems to have escaped me for a second.

Mchael at the show, waiting for the start |
The musical involved drama and music students up to Grade XII.
There are a number of good roles, and a number of small choral groups – lots of room in the musical for many students.

... In the hall, after the show ... |
The interested kids from Grade IX don’t need credits so their participation is purely for their own enjoyment.
