Pizza and Cinnamon Buns

LtoR: Seth, Franklin Kent, Duncan Carter-Johnson, Brodie McQjen, Felix Morrow
It is a snow day in Victoria.

Classe in schools, colleges and universities are cancelled.

Five of Duncan's friends managed to find their way here, with their dungeons and dragons paraphernalia.

Usually they order in pizza but today is a snow day, so while the pizza shop is working, there is no home delivery.

Duncan was wringing his hands and wondering, "Would it be too much, grandmother, to help us out in the kitchen? Either pizza or cinnamon buns."

Ha ha.  No trouble.  I can do pizza and cinnamon buns without looking at a recipe.

Between us, Rebecca and I made two large pans of home-made pizza and 2 pans of cinnamon buns.

We think the hardest work of it all was the clean-up, but we also agree -- so much easier when it is done by two people.

3:30 pm.

The food is all gone.  That means we didn't make quite enough.

Now this post seems kind of boring, but the event was filled with laughter.  From the kitchen we heard D&D characters with accents from different cultures.  There is also a character who spoke in only rhymes.   Some forethought required there.  At 7 pm the mythical creatures disappear with gratitude for time well spent in each other's company
