Games INC

Doral's Games with Duncan's D&D in the foreground

Doral arrived last night after a long trip from St Albert, the longest stretch being from Golden.

A bad accident closed the highway at Donald and by the time the road was up and going again, there had been three hours of closure.

With that much traffic backing up, the road was pretty well one car after another for the rest of the trip.

On unpacking, out came Doral's games and thus an evening of gaming began with Doral, David, Duncan and Rebecca at a small table, the group moving to the larger table for the evening. The gaming stopped at 4 am and went like this.

First Doral children gave up.

Then David and Duncan closed down for the evening.

Even Doral had to count himself out when he got tired.

Bonnie and Rebecca continued to play until sunrise.

Who knew they would be the last ones down, and apparently the first ones up.

Whose turn is it next?
I was making cinnamon buns and having committed myself to never rolling them and putting them in pans by myself, I was out lurking the halls and open spaces at about 8:30 am, looking for a partner to finish off the task.

I found Bonnie with her electronics on and so she got up to help me, Rebecca following not long after – well long enough that the buns were cooked and ready to be eaten and just in time to go to the pottery wheel.

Doral saved the day with the buns, for I thought they needed a few more minutes in the oven and then forgot about them.

He must have been looking for them, having put them in the oven and now not seeing them out.

Doral prefers the corner pieces.

Meighan arrived shortly after and told her dad that though he says that, she has come to prefer them more from the middle.

Strange, all of these teens now having minds of their own.
