Veer and Kerri Singh came for a bullet visit, arriving one day, spending a day and leaving the next day.

Veer has a drone and so the kids were fascinated with his powers to keep a camera in the air.

They walked the road to the beach with the plane hovering above their head or the walked beside Veer as his drone was moving onto the meadowed spaces.

As might be predicted when there is an interruption between the drone and the satellite controlling it, the drone takes off on its own, crashing into one of the taller trees.

Its body was recovered but it needs some tender care before it gets in the air again.

Veer was devastated at the loss. Kerri was glad to find the drone at all.

Kerri, Bonnie and I spend some late evening hours singing.

Kerri doesn’t know some of the songs from the 50’s and 60’s, at least the ones that a beginning guitar player can do.

So she searched for lyrics, sang along with the simple melodies and a good time was had by all.

Kerri was good enough to supply a bucket of D Dutchman Dairy Ice Cream.

The newest exciting flavour is lemon pie.

Lemon is always a good flavour.

The lemon against the smooth creaminess of the D Dutchman flavour was more than I could stand.

I had two bowls.

Two Pilling sized bowls.

I couldn’t do a third.
