Chris Turnbull said, “Today is our fortieth wedding anniversary.”
We were sitting around the table at Richard’s and Miranda’s house. It was evening. Chris, Joan and Andrew were enjoying a meal with their three grandchildren, Michael, Alice and Betty.
Chris told me that Michael was wearing his Halloween dragon costume at dinner because afterwards the whole family was going to watch a dragon movie.
Now that is a good fortieth wedding anniversary day!
