80 Things We Love About Arta: No. 32: A Coruna, Spain

Cruising to Canary Islands with Arta, Moiya, Wyona and Alex.  Arta and I were leaving Mon. in Jan. 2012. Sat. night we were at a musical in London when we received a call from Steve with a great idea that we could take Alex with us. Lucky us! We had an inside room so told Steve if he would get a balcony and pay the upgrade, we would be happy to have Alex with us. By time we arrived home from the show it was a go. All occupants in the house were snuggled in bed when Arta and I decided to phone Moiya to see if she wanted to come and pay for the fourth person. Moiya packed her bag and left on the plane overnight. After 3 days sailing we stopped A Coruna, Spain.

Feet first! These feet belong to the three women. Alex must have been missing. Guess who belongs to what feet????
Beautiful photo of La Coruna in Spanish and in English A Coruna.
Sometimes the city is referred to as the city of glass because of all the glass front on the buildings.
Arta and Moiya looking up to take their photos.
I think it was a rainy day but we were not daunted.
Great pose Arta!
On the way into port we sailed past a 16th century fortress which is being used now as a museum exhibiting antique weaponry and archaealogical artifacts.
